  Purposes of the Curriculum
   
     The Curriculum of Master of Science (Computer Information Systems) is intended to produce personnel qualified in the followings:
 
     
    1. They can teach at the undergraduate level in the following areas

         1.1 Business Computers or Introduction to Computer
         1.2 Introduction to System Analysis / System Design
         1.3 Introduction to Computer Networks (Internet, Intranets, and Extranet)
         1.4 Current Computer Programming Languages (C, C++, Visual, JAVA, etc.)

 
    2. They can work in the following areas:

         2.1 System Analysis and System Design. They will be eligible for staff positions
                That can lead to executive appointments.
         2.2 Database System Design.
         2.3 Design, implementation and testing of computer network systems, such as internet, extranet, internet
                and e-commerce / e-business systems.
         2.4 Sales Engineers. They will be able to design plans for the sales force working from the office, and conduct
                meetings with clients to provide understanding of technical information.

 
    3. They will be in a position to further their education for Ph.D. Program in Computer Information        Systems, Computer Engineering Management and Software Engineering:

         3.1 With a grade point average of 3.50 or better, they can be admitted to doctoralstudy at ABAC with regular                 students status.
         3.2 With a grade point average of 3.00 to 3.49, they cam qualify for probational status in the doctoral program.
                Promotion from probation to regular status requires the acceptance of a technical paper
                (with the collaboration of their advisor) by an acceptable professional journal, such as those of the ACM
                or the IEEE.

 
    4. In their one to one year and three months at ABAC, they will be trained not only to the highest
        technical standard, but also to the highest standards of integrity and ethics so that they will
        be fully-functional and contributing members of society.
